What can Erdogan do to solve the Cyprus Problem?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What can Erdogan do to solve the Cyprus Problem?

Postby repulsewarrior » Sat Dec 17, 2016 6:25 am

...you guys know me, so i'm asking in all seriousness, what with the meetings in January, soon: what can Erdogan do, in Geneva, toward a positive outcome?

I say,

He can recognise Cyprus, and solve a lot of problems domestically with Turkey's own Constitutional reforms. A BBF in Turkey is not anathema to his own goals really.

(One Cyprus, One Turkey)

...worse, the worst as an outcome a Cyprus divided. I would think, for Erdogan, it cannot mean, at this moment, a Turkey united.

He can stand with the united guests, the "interested parties", for Cyprus, or be, yet amongst them, "but one", again, ; in any case the world will be watching.

He can "gift" the water and the electricity, that has a price, now that they are in private (read: his) hands, to Cyprus, the Republic, a gift to all Cypriots, as a lasting symbol, restitution to recognise a wrong.

He can express his interest as Cyprus' ally, in organising tripartite meetings, which evolve to a regional representation of Eastern Mediterranean countries, bettering themselves, and the Middle Eastern world.

He can shake hands with President Anastasiades under the Flag of Cyprus, smiling, while his contemporaries from around the world would cheer.

He can be a Hero, in Cyprus, there can be a good reason for a statue of him as tall as Makarios, and a day every year yet celebrated more fully, by all Cypriots, with just a few words.

He can remove his troops from Cyprus, by choosing the day. He can challenge Great Britain to do the same.

he does not have to do anything. he said he supports bbf and that is what is being negotiated. if he is going to a meeting, it means that there will be a new security arrangement and he is needed to sign to disolve the last one and implement the next one, therwise there would be no need for him to be there.

It's easy to shoot an unarmed person in the back vromoshilla, but it won't be the same in battle...

Say hello to Admiral Apostolakis and his crew...

Whats the difference between those you dipshit????

Any coward can drop bombs for above moving at 800mph+ (the Americans do it all the time in the ME).

The difference is the Greeks were boots on the ground to face the enemy face to face. Ass hole.

Hey have you seen the one where your tough guys shoot those unarmed female Kurdish fighter in the back of the head, or the one were 4 tough Turkish solderers are beating the crap out of a Kurd balled up on the floor.

Yeah, ok, just keep on walking over your tough guys, ass wipe. Assirktir.
