In all my life I have never heard of a anything so absurd. Why on earth would they be giving you drinks for free!!
In Cyprus there exist many such places commonly known as Kabare. You pay through the nose for a glass of beer, and you get NOTHING for free.I wonder if any other member on the forum has ever experienced what you describe.

Don't believe a word but how would I even tell you the address.

Mate, I think the guy had more on his mind than a bottle of scotch. There were gambling tables and slot machines.

I am also a very clean cut, and articulate bugger and very astute as well. The guy had an eye on me all the time because he probably thought I was suspicious. So he sat next to me. And I friggin had a lot to drink and he was pretty damn talkative and friendly too for some reason.

I paid nothing. Not one cent.

Not only that, but I went there 3 times in a row and didn't pay a cent.

It wasn't a night club or anything. It was a gambling house and I never even had a single bet anywhere.

Intheed, we even became "friends" but I don't think it was genuine. They probably thought I was a cop or something.

And the guy had a chain made of gold around his neck too. The damn thing must of been a kilo.

The point is patsogero, is that the Russians aren't Like the retired British on the island. They are there for other things and have many businesses on the island which are on the fringes of the law. Everything from Gamblung Casinos, strip joints, girl bars, narcotics, and now even Banks and airlines. Why? Because of the islands 1 million consumers or is it because they wanted to be in an Orthodox country? You guys are friggin delusional to believe they just open cafes and take away shops.

And they aren't there because they like Cypriots either because all you need to do is search for all the Russian interests in the trnc. 10000 of them live in the occupied as well. Why?

Tell me, throughout your life how many days have you spent in Cyprus?
I will take a guess and say about 30 days in all

You know little if anything about Cyprus. Now you day you went to this gambling place on 3 occasions
You had free drinks at all 3 times. Perhaps they took you for a ...spy or secret service .I wonder how many Cypriots enjoy free drinks at this joint. In my younger days I visited many casinos here in london where meals and drinks were provided to members only since they knew that suckered such as those who gamble would end up paying through the. Nose. Tell us now how much did you ( for GR ) loose ???

Some of them are extremely wealthy. Like part of the 0.01% wealthy. Firstly, how did they accumulate such wealth and why would these wealthy people come to Cyprus?

Why wouldn't they go to another European Country, or America, China or Australia? Because they can't is why. Because some of them are probably on the radar as well. They would love to be able to move their money freely without getting anyone's attention.

And how did these guys end up with BoC? Because they had billions in capital inside the Bank and Pootin himself is probably a share holder too now because there were rumors he had money in Cyprus. Why? Because he wants to holiday in Cyprus?

And what about Assad?

You guys love playing with Fire don't you?

Quite a great many days to be more knowledgeable about the darker side of the island than both you and Pyro.

Go and visit that place I told you and see for yourself.

However, you won't be getting any free drinks because all they would see in you is just some loser patsogero, or someone they can feed on.

They didn't with me. I drank for free and was given a lot of attention. Why? Well you try and work it out because the only thing I can figure out is that I grabbed their attention as someone to watch. Either way, I wasn't going to cause trouble for them because I am no idiot and actually value my life and want to grow old.

I walked in and got their attention for some reason.

These guys probably even knew where I was staying because they probably might of even followed me or tried to. But I am not an idiot as I told you and took dummy routes. I remember being very conscious of being cautious.

There is no question in my mind that the people who owned that establishment were not your typical good samaritans either.

That's easy for you to say.

Just walk in and see for yourself. Check it out!

It don't go wearing your shorts, white shirt, white socks and sandals.

See if you would feel comfortable when all the Russian bouncers and some freak wearing a 20000 euro chain around his neck sit next to you filling your glass with a click of their finger.

Gambling, narcotics, women of the night are not your typical good fellas. In Las Vegas, some of the Casinos there were started off by the Sicilian Mafia as well. These are not establishments where you can just walk in and be a smart arse.

And I wasn't, but I raised there eyebrows at least for some reason.

You live in a dream world. I remember that night I needed to be alone and I needed a drink. I went in, and got lots of drinks for free.

And I had lots of drinks and even had some company. Russian company. Not your typical Russian tourists either.

And they were wealthy enough or powerful enough to give me what I wanted without a red cent in return.

So go in and if you see my mate wearing a kilo of gold, tell him his Aussie mate sends him salutations.

I have given you everything including the address! 8)

There were bacarat and black jack tables. There was Texan Poker. There were about 50 slot machines. There was also a mezzanine level where there were some guys playing poker, probably all Russians.

Bouncers were all Russian. Bar staff, Russian. Everything was very Russian except for some Cypriot Pensioners blowing their Pension on the slots.

All of you guys are friggin naive and are in a world of your own, whereas the world I describe exists. I would put money on it.

100 euro bet for anyone stupid enough to take it up.

Money where mouth is. 100 on the table right now!

And when I am in Cyprus, are any of you brave enough to come along for some drinks with my Russian Casino owner "friends" all the drinks will be free. Won't cost you a thing. 8)
