Today i broke my record!! Early morning fishing and I caught 4 kourkounes. Fair size too so the cats were deprived of their breakfast.
Took them home and had them for breakfast, the best breakfast i have ever had. Some kindly local anglers provided me with s fee tips seing that im a novice, one guy, a regular angler called Andreas even gave me some of his special fish food and A ....brankarola trible hook, ideal he said for catching kourkounes. As always the sun rise so majestic so invigorating, i must admit , London seems so so far away.

Broke my record early this morning with a catch of 8 fish !!
Kourkounes all and very tasty.

The joy of living in Cyprus has not diminished one iota
on the contrary it has intensified with each day being a pleasure being here unparalleled to any other.

My advice to any other uk citizens is this. Stop wasting time and get over here in Paradise Island.

Starting my 4th month on Paradise Island, it will soon be 100 days on July 24th, the perpetual honeymoon continues just as immensely enjoyable as my first few days.

Take away the attrocious and aggresively dangerous driving every else is just pure bliss. Talking about driving in Limassol i have now given up counting the thouroughly stupid crashes i have thus far witnessed. Two yesterday alone.

My fishing has now become a real passion managing to catch a few each day. The sheer pleasure of cooking and eating my freshly caught dinner is unimaginably enjoyable .

Im lucky in that hot weather does not in the least bother me. I rarely use my air con preferring the ceiling fans so much more suitable than air con.

London seems so far away now, at times it seems that i have never left Cyprus yet it was 56 years ago.

Visiting Paphos today taking my family along for a picknic on Petra tou Romiou.

Which pier do you use? I see a number of anglers on the pier next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel opposite my office.
