The courtesy car, is included with your policy, if it is like the insurance i have on my truck; it is not a nicety if you've paid for it..

With hindsight i should but being in Cyprus just a few days , I left it to my insurance.
I have since heard many detogatory comments about this garage.

But why on YOUR insurance. The cost for everything should be undertaken by the insurance of the other guy not yours. The way you acted is going to increase your premium, without been your fault.
Your insurance guys are now having a party on your back...
Also by law you are entitled to chose your own garage. Just take it away from there and ask the insurance of the other guy to pay.

My insurance is NOT bearing the cost of repairs etc. The driver of the offending car had insurance . Of course i had to inform my insurance . I have also contacted my insurance again and told them about the delay in repairs. I asked if i could take the car to another garage and they said yed but i would first have to speak to the other insurance since the repair costs had already bern approved at the garage in question. Not wishing to cause a further delay i decided not to and have given the current garagr untill Friday this week.

Visited the crash repairers yesterday , apparently they do only body work, and was told that the Jag was at a nearby garage as they discovered that the impact had buckled the rear axle and that a new one had to be sourced . As to when it would be repaired nobody could give me an idea. ...
My courtecy car has all I need and as much as I want to be driving my Jag I will not let this mishap spoil my sheer delight of being in Cyprus.

Tomorrow May 30th will be exactly 4 weeks since my Jaguar was ....incapacitated. !!!
Today the news is that they are waiting for a rear axle to arrive !!!

Have now been here in my beloved cyprus for 6 weeks and not a minute has gone by without pure enjoyment. My apartment is in an area surrounded by mostly Russians , met many whilst taking George, my newly found doggie for walkies. I did not intend to have a dog in Cyprus but having found him on my birthday I dont have the heart to give him away.
Initially i advertised on bazaraki for a good home, but when a young guy turned up to collect him i changed my mind.
You can still see George on bazaraki, offered for 1 euro.Such a cute and friendly puppie
i wonder if Psycho might ....like him. Check him out. I gave my real name for contact, John .
