Abstract Metal Art Wall Sculpture female torso by Andriy P.

Details
"Ghost Lady"
This magnificent female torso was hand formed and welded by Andriy Pavlovskiy. Each piece is unique and would compliment any art collection. Andriy creates artworks that delve beyond the medium of metal, adding elements of sculpture and painting, resulting in an art piece that has a timeless quality and enhancement of any decor. The fine textured details were accomplished by tedious polishing and grinding, creating a movement of light as you gaze at the art. The approximate size is 30"x16"x6"deep.

Would look great in a modern home but needs a stand to be exhibited.

However, if the stand is round it’ll look like a seamstress’ dummy so I’d go for a thin triangular base (with edges curled up a bit or rounded off?) or other shape and with a copper tube in the center welded to the vagina area.

You create nice things but you always seem to be missing that final touch that makes them exhibition pieces.

Nobody will be happy about leaning this pretty piece on walls and furniture... they'll want it to be erect.

People are different, they have different tastes, I didn't make stand because I left an option for a buyer if he wants it on a wall or a stand( rectangular, round, triange,, with a pipe or a square material) thanks for your comment!!

...you just get one of those.

If it is art it is for someone, or of someone, made of or for them, one of a kind because in effect it was worked to be authentic as an individual piece; sculptures have reasons, beside making money in manufacturing.

...welcome Pavlovsky, are you the man around Christmas selling roses? I hope this year i may get some to my mother.

You’re waffling again...

Thanks for your replies! It's a model made out of a female torso mold from gypsum, every piece of a Stainless Steel washer was carefully welded with TIG(Ar). Was used 1200-1300 St/St washers with diameter 15mm, it took me 38 hours to complete.

Great work, Andriy!

Seeing it makes me regret not going on with that other project this summer
