if I was a betting man, the splitting of turkey has already started with the everyone backing 2 kurdish states on her southern border backed by the US, Russia, EU, Israel, all neighbouring countries and arab states...

If Shulz wins the elections in Germany, his promise is to cancel Turkeys application to join the EU. Once this is official, we will begin to see many of those investors in flight and taking their money out too.

It seems that Shulz's statement has rattled Merkel because she is now saying the same, whereas before she still didn't want to close the door on Turkey.

I vote Shulz. Turkey is an unsafe country to deal with or travel too. Anyone stupid enough to go there deserve all they get.

In any case the elections are only a couple of weeks away, we shall see.

problem here Boomers is our side are too fuckg stupid to capitalise on this and will embrace Turkey, giving away Cyprus to them and she will enter via the back door (read Cyprus).

The German candidates are talking shit because it’s election time! Germany has set up many assembly factories in Turkey to take advantage of their cheap labor so they have, over the years made it foolishly difficult for the German economy to separate itself from this relationship.

As much as I think that Turkey is just a barbaric and archaic islamo-fascist entity I can’t see how Germany will replace its Turkish reliance in the near future and especially with no plan in place.

If there is one, I haven't seen anything online...

Get real, turkey is haeding for a split the writing is on the wall...comes 2019 50% of the population if not more don't want the islamists....the us and rusia are preparing the eventuality....

As it stands it's out of germanys 'hands...maybd she was told hence why the u-turn....
2 kurdish states bordering turkey and 1 within turkey...israel said they will recognise kurdistan if the vote goes ahead....they pissed of china as well...

Turkey today is currently tolerated....the us spend the last 50 years propping them up you think they will let her just walk away?...no way jose...
The russians can't stand the double crossing turks...
China is furious she cancelled the contract after signatures on the contract....
Israel does not trust them, hence recognition os kurdistan in north iraq....
Egypt hates them with a passion
The gulf countries hate them hence a condition on qatar to through the turks out...
Iran can't stand them...

Show me a neighbour that actually gets along with them...

Erdogan will win in 2019 via cheating....turkey today is already psychologically partition...heading towards civil war...
