Your direct answer is that Turkey doesn’t care about any resolutions against it concerning CYPRUS as it knows that they can never be enforced, and she also knows that under international law the Cyprus issues will only ever end when an amicable and Comprehensive solution is agreed upon between both the Greek and Turkish Cypriots. Seeing that it will never happen, the next best thing, like with Russia and Crimea, is annexation until you lot one day wake up to the reality that the Northern Cyprus territory no longer consists of pure Turkish Cypriots, but half TC and Half TK children and over 2 million TKs from Turkey. It’s a shame that your politicians have pushed it this way. As for us, TCs, it no longer makes a difference as we’ve been conditioned by Turkey since 1974 in every way possible. The losers here will be your side.

I hear you bro with the politicians, but unfortunately our politicians are no longer Turkish Cypriot by nature but from Turkey. The last event at Crans Montana was the last straw where it’s thought that the EU actually prefers Northern Cyprus to belong to Turkey due to Turkey’s growing influence as a trading partner to the EU, the Ceyhan pipeline project, Hydro Carbons found in Northern Cyprus and Turkiey’s Close relationship with both China and Russia as a hub to British and German markets.

In other words, tiny Cyprus means Jack shit to Britain and the EU in the grand scheme of things compared to what Turkey can offer.

As for the Kurdish element you seem to have a hard on about, they already have a known Pronvince within Turkey and it’s parliament as MPs, like how Huseyin Ozgurgun will be represented as the “Kuzey Kibris Millet Vekiri”.

Annexing part of an EU State won't go down too well in Brussels. I can see the ROC obstructing and disrupting the EU should it fail to come down hard on Turkey if the north is annexed. Cyprus can't be hit any harder by "foreign institutions" than it was a few years ago during the financial crisis.
