My cousin is currently in Cyprus renting a car for 3 euros per day.

Really? From which company and do they have the same price during the summer? Or is this price given as a favor because the owner knows your cousin? My sister in-law is currently renting a car for 0 euro per day, but that is only because she is working at the same group of companies that the car rental belongs to.

Thanks! Since you are going to ask please also ask the model and year of the car. I was thinking to buy a small used car from 2012-2013, but if I can rent a newer car for less than €100 per month then I might do that instead.
