Well you're obviously fond of railway lines, as has been proven by you jumping on one to de-rail this thread....was there really any ned to post on it other than to increase YOUR imagined popularity?

Are you talking to me? If so, I don't think I hijacked the thread ..... I had to translate Paphitis insults before I knew what he was saying ..... he is an absolute master at diverting threads!

Yes you. Up until Monday 20th March at 7.27pm the thread was about meat ( boring I know but about meat nevertheless ) It was at this time you decided to change it to a thread regarding (in your opinion) Paphitis allegedly bumping up ghe viewing numbers to increase his popularity.

Which he did. As I asked you .... do you have another explanation. I would be very interested to know what it is!

"Which he did" -in your opinion not mine I can assure you.
Perhaps you are slightly aggrieved at the number of people who have viewed the post (another 560 in the last 24 hours..maybe Paphitis stayed up all night to do these also). Maybe just maybe people viewed the post because they thought it maybe of interest. But this I am sure would not sit well in your somewhat paranoid , conspiracy theorist world.
Perhaps he will stay up tomorrow to bump up your SkripAl thread after all that has only had 2130 views since it was originated.

Kindest regards
Richard

"Maybe just maybe people viewed the post because they thought it maybe of interest."...... Meat ? and consistently over time at 5-6 views a minute ..... do you really believe that is even remotely feasible when no other threads moved at all?

So you don't actually have an alternative explanation then?

Bumping up my thread ..... that would not surprise me at all! It got bumped from just 184 to 2000+ whilst I was asleep and after I suggested he was being sneaky ...... surprise, surprise. Why the sudden upsurge in interest in The Skripal Conspiracy, when most members were getting ready for bed or already asleep and he was waking up ? You don't need Sherlock Holmes to work that out.

Regards to you too ..... :D

... work out some stats

Meat by Paphitis:
Paphitis has 11 own replies by now (34%)
Robin Hood contributed with 9 (28%)

Skripal by Robin Hood:
Robin Hood has 4 own replies by now (again 28%)
Paphitis contributed with 3 replies (21%)

The evidence isn't exactly overwhelming, most of us would call it a tie!

Thanks Richard for jumping to my aid.

The guy is c;ear;y an imbecile and he and his mates are the only members on this forum to ever make an issue about thread clicks, and therefore it is he and the other malakas that are most likely to tamper with threads to give an impression one way or another.

I on the other hand, have never made any issue of this, find the subject rather embarrassing and really don't care in the slightest how many clicks I get. I can't control the internet either.

Thank you too for the reasoned responses.

I would like to reiterate the fact that there is a lot more to life than the internet or some forum or social media.

We all attend particular forums or social media out of some-kind of interest. For me, I am on this forum because it is a forum on Cyprus (mostly).

But no way would I even care one iota about my clicks, or sit around all night rigging it.

I have never even made an issue of it, and to be fair, never even noticed the clicks because its not something I worry about. Others worry about this kind of stuff and therefore, are likely to be responsible.

Yes .... you can prove anything with statistics, but you need the right statistics to get a realistic answer!

We are talking about ‘views’ not ‘replies’. Replies have a signature, views do not. So you are answering the wrong question.

The Skripal thread was 184 views and 13 replies, four of which were further posts by me, with update info. That’s just over one reply for every 14 views.

...... at the same time.....

The Meat thread had 2000+ views and 11 replies, seven of which were Paphitis own posts. That is one reply for every 188 views.

I also watched the views climbing at a rate that could ONLY have been artificially induced.

The following morning the Skripal thread had gained around 1800 views, and that was after Paphitis was challenged about fiddling his viewing rating. I find that very strange.

At that time the Skripal thread was acting normally and was not viewed and neither was any other thread. The ratio of ‘views’ to ‘replies’ on the Meat thread is therefore highly questionable for a thread that appears to be almost viral in its popularity.

You believe what you want to, but my money is on Paphitis boosting his craving to have forum friends and perceived popularity. But who gives a toss anyway? If it makes Paphitis happy, and boosts his ego and self esteem ...... good on him!

I don't need any forum friends.

In fact, it is very difficult to get close to my family or me for friendship in real life because we only have a few friends and we do not need any more. Thank you.

I am extremely selective, very fussy, about who I choose to have as a friend. Even my children hang around certain families of our choosing with kids their age. I am a racist. Like to keep things in house and under control. No white sock sandal wearers ok? No Kokkinokoloi, and no kriokoloi allowed (Russians included).

Just like you idiot who actually tried to be my "friend' until I found out what you were about and told you in no uncertain terms to fuck off. I count me friends on maybe 2 or 3 hands (and I consider myself lucky), and most of them I have known for years. Some for over 25 years. Yes, some of them are Aussies too.

I have a lot of acquaintances. I have many powerful acquaintances as well.

I don't need any self esteem boost from the forum. never even made any issue of thread clicks, didn't even noticed and also considered this to be bogus. You on the other hand are making a very big issue about this and it isn't the first time.

But yes, generally speaking, my threads and posts are very popular. And I guess that is what upsets you the most.
