well its not long now till the draw for the qualifiers and i'm very excited about this because our last 2 performances have been brilliant. Ireland we played great but were unlucky not to draw and then even in a friendly we played afntastically against wales and yet again there keeper kept the score down. i would quite like this group:

England (so we can play at wembley and i could go) :D
Spain (gd team and we beat them a few years ago  8) )
Slovakia
Scotland (again could go to this game)
San Marino
Armenia

so wat do all think our chance are i'd say:

4 wins 4 draws 4 defeats 16 points would be great

I think if our players play up to there ability we can give every team in our group a run for there money...

With Ireland we could of beat them 4 or 5 nothing if we had capitalized on our oppurtinities.

Hopefully we can get an easy group, I would love to be in englands group get a way from the French and Israel for once..If we played England in Cyprus there would be 25000 people at the match..

Our goal is to try to win all our home games and hope for some good results on the road..we have to play together and I hope Aggelos can get the team to do so...

Do you think we have a chance to qualify though? Just a few good games like last year will not be enough. Lets face it, even in a group like the the one of Patto we could not go higher than 4th :(

obviously it will be very difficult to qualify but these recent good performance have come in the last few games which shows good progress under the manager. fair enough we may not qualify but if we can finish the fixtures with a sense of pride and a real belief we have improved then who knows. one day we may qualify. we need to stay strong, develop players and have belief we can win games. you never know what will happen in football

KEEP THE FAITH

PS who said we cant go higher than 4th. is there a new law against it

If we will ever do something good then this year is the time! We have good players that are playing in Greece like Konstantinou, Okkas, Haralambides, Aloneftis etc. Maybe we should also offer the citizenship to Sosin? :P

We need to win our home games and anything can happen..With the likes of Konstantinou, Okkas, Charalambides, Aloneftis, Makrides, Krassas we should be putting up good results..We destroyed the Irish with that lineup but we couldnt capitalize... If we do we can be ver dangerous..We have a tournament coming up in February with Greece involved and 6 other countries this will be a good test for us..

We have good players. But do they take the national team seriously? Do they train enough with the national team?

We have a tournament coming up in Cyprus the end of February I hope the coach picks players that want to play for the team...If they dont want to play then they shouldnt play..You have to play with heart and bleed for ur country otherwise saty at home...

I agree with that. The problem is that we don't have that many good players to choose from. So we should hope that the ones that want to play with heart for the team are the good ones! Imagine if Okkas, Kanstanitnou etc didn't care to play!
