It seems to me that you don't like the way the forum here is ran/moderated so why do you keep returning..no sarcasm intended just wondering

My 'problem' is not how this forum is run / moderated. My problem is with how certain people choose to behave, and how such behaviour, has become the 'loudest' voice, contributing to it to becoming an ever increasing hollow shadow of the interesting and stimulating place that it used to be. To be able to communicate in open public dialogue about Cyprus with people like Alexandros Lordos, (a person GR calls here a 'cunt'), and so many many others now departed, was indeed stimulating, educational, enjoyable and to me of value, even given all the back ground noise. Now there is only background noise. My 'return' to the forum was a lament at this reality and having made it I will soon retreat away again like so many others. No single person is to blame for this change and certainly NOT the admin here but some individuals most certainly do bear a greater burden of culpability for it. Indeed it seems highly lightly to me that some actually prefer the forum as it is today. I weep for the state the forum is in today and my 'return' was little more than an expression of this sadness. There is no better moderation than self moderation.

Your sentence structures in your first couple of posts are so pathetic that I’m starting to suspect that you’re a high school dropout, so I’ll just extract a section from one of your childish illegible mono-blocks to clear up the confusion…

That your 'beloved' CF, created for commercial gain by an individual who remains 'anonymous', genuinely is and without any possible doubt a 'dictatorship', with all decisions about it made covertly by fiat by the anonymous creator,…

See? That’s where you said it!

Putting aside the fact that you’re such a fucking bore… if you plan to keep coming back on this matter I sure hope you’re a masochist Erol because... I take no prisoners.

An organisational system where decisions are taken and implement by an individual person is a dictatorship by definition. I expressed myself badly and I admit it, like an adult interested in dialog and not primarily ego. My post was not a complaint that this forum's admin censors views unfairly against TC or others to stop them being able to express those view. It does not, never has (and nether did the other forum).

I suggest you count your losses and move on, or you may want to phone a friend like… Alexandros! 8)

I think with his last posts erolz has clarified his position. His initial post was exaggerated (something he admitted) and then some of the things he said were in response to what GR said against him. So basically his position is one we heard many times before by others: that certain members drive others away. That is a position I can't really disagree with.

In an ideal world we would have the absolute free speech, everybody would have an IQ well above average, everybody would be well educated, everybody would be well mannered etc. But this isn't an ideal world. What we could do then is to set some standards and "filter out" those who don't meet them. That could work OK on forums which do not deal with controversial and emotional issues but not on a forum such as this one.

Personally I don't think that GR or anybody else is the main problem of this forum. Today there are things like facebook and people tend to prefer to socialize with same minded others who will not challenge their views. it is so easy today to make a facebook group for people who are "pro-solution", "anti-federation", "nationalist" etc where people can have their views re-enforced and make them feel a strong bond with their community, something which can not happen in a forum like this where everybody believes something different and therefore no strong community bond among all the members can be formed.

So GR... did I pass the test? ;)

To sum up Elroz66 problem, he is complaining that all of the Turk sympathisers have left (except for Pyro that is) and he has difficulty getting his propaganda spread on the forum.

People come and go, nothing new, if mr E doesn't like it, he should then just be laid to rest. Hade assirktir.
As if anyone gives a crap about what you think about the forum. Go to the ones (as stated previously) where every one sings your praises, you fit in better there.

Paragraph-wise your post is perfect and if you keep it up I’ll no longer skip some of your posts… which I did when they looked taxing.

As for the issue at hand…I started this civilized and well meaning thread with positive messages and Erol who considers himself “mature and intelligent” and “anti-playground”, patronized me from the onset.

Go back and see for yourselves if necessary, where you’ll find that I’m not the one who started this.

No doubt he misses the good old days... but thankfully Pyro rushed to his rescue with the loyalty of a pedigree! :)

Is Pyro a Turk sympathiser? :? I get confused. I don't like to get involved in CYPROB matters. A case of following the old maxim "never argue about horse shit with an Apache". It doesn't of course preclude my being an interested observer.
