Stack Overflow has listened to the cries of GR

They have now recognized that they are not friendly to newbies and amateurs like GR and they want to become more inclusive:

Not sure if that is a positive move. Hopefully they will not do something which will ruin Stack Overflow. I personally like it how it is now.

I helped countless people on SO in the past but I then became too busy.

Now that they’re abandoning the elitist rules (if indeed they are because they’ve said that before and nothing changed) maybe another Cypriot can join and show us what he’s got…

But even with less-elitist rules… I doubt someone who has never heard of AJAX before, can contribute to a place like SO.

So you became too busy?

So great was the power handed to the hotshots that you couldn’t even respond for an enquiry so the decision to abandon such a fascist environment wasn’t difficult to make!

 Its OK GR, maybe now you can try again and they might be kinder to amateur newbies like you. But I think their kindness will extend only as far as letting you ask questions so you can learn. Pretending that you are an expert and giving bullshit answers to others is something I am pretty sure they will still not allow ;)

You’ve just proven what I said… that they made similar promises in the past (at least one in 2012) but never honor them.

With that old link you posted… you’ve also reminded us that as a contributor I had received a personal invite back into SO, and you didn’t!

Who would've guessed that you were never a contributor in the world's premier programmer's forum or willing to help others.

You try to be clever and end up shooting yourself in the foot every time… :)

Btw, here’s a little secret for you… I never stopped helping until about a year ago when I got too busy… only I was using temp accounts because I had since lost my 2012 password.

You are using multiple temp accounts with generic usernames in the hopes that they will not realize who you are and delete your posts.

I had received a personal invite back into SO

 Only a clueless grandma would think that there is something "personal" in a mass email send to every registered member. Maybe I should forward to you the spam I am getting.
