Can anyone assist me please, we are moving to Cyprus next year and want to bring our car, I ve searched everywhere for import duty, but always get directed to the gov/cy site which is great but the online calculator is locked unless you have Excel which we can operate with our I-Mac and I Pads.
I did call the number and was quoted 11k euros for Range Rover which seemed excessive but I guess emissions etc are reason. We have decided to sell and have looked at buying a Mercedes today E - Class 220 Convertible. The Emissions are way lower at 128. Does anyone have any info please . Very grateful.

if you have a hotmail account, it offers you a free cut down version of excel which can be used to calculate. if you launch it before you open the website it may well work. failing that you can download a trial version of xcel for 30 days free of charge,

There is a company based in Paphos 'RSS Logistics' they have a website and are quick at answering emails. If you give them the model year etc you are looking to import they will give you quotation covering all aspects ie shipping, customs clearance , registration on Cyprus plates etc
Regarding importing a large 4x4 then the figure seems accurate as we were quoted for a BMW X5 and it was not cost effective and was cheaper to purchase has locally
