Thank you. It was just outside of Protaras. So not near a base that I’m aware of. But the bizarre thing is that they were only visible where the moon was. Surely, flares, missiles, rockets etc would not be only seen in just one place (although I am definitely not an expert in military excercises)

Well, they are spending Billions on extra-terrestial projects such as the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 probes so I guess the might have an inkling.
