I've moved out of Cyprus for a job assignment, might be back, but for the time being, because I've spent more than 1/2 year out of Cyprus the previous year, I've had to go thru the headache of sorting the taxes on both sides. Now I've went thru the whole procedure with taxisnet and filed for it myself (previously my employer used to arrange all that ). Turns out they owe me a fair amount, close to €1k - according to a notification I've received mid-October. I've provided them with my account number as instructed, but so far I've got nothing in my account. Have double-checked the account number I provided, its definitely a correct one, and its in a Cyprus bank, so I don't think there should have been any issue with it.
Should I worry to contact them, or is it normal for the refund to take that long? Anybody have experience with it?
