Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to get a cyprus id card if one of my parents is not cypriot. My mother is cypriot, my father however is not:/ I am really wondering if me and my brother could get one. Is there anyone who might know about these issues? I really want to know about it all. Thank you.

That rather depends on your mother and your father. If your mother is a terggish cypriot forget it. if she is a griiik cypriot you will be fine no matter where your father is from except tergggy. is he is terggish you can also forget it.

but of course you can also buy yor citizenship for about a million euros.

What is your nationality? Contact your local Cyprus embassy if you live abroad.

Thanks for all replies! My mother isnt greek but my grandparents used to live in the south so they have citizenship-basically they’re all cypriots. My father was born in the north as me and he couldnt get the id due to his parents being Turkish coming from Turkey. The main reason that i want to get a passport is that i will be able to benefit from its opportunities and hava more chance to study in a foreign country. In a year from now on i will be applying for the universities so i really want to consider studying abroad as well.
