In some ways I agree with you, that most of the guys, especially the ugly ones who have wild hair on their faces look dirty to me also. Some of these guys think they are cool like the "Marlboro Man", the cowboy guy in the cigarette adds and billboards. Most of these guys couldn't be Jihadist if their lives depended on it. They are mostly bunch of pussies.

When I was sailing the high seas on my sailboat in the late eighties, I too had a hairy face, you know, the nautical look with masculine body, call it Greek Gods if you want or Michael Angelo's masterpiece David. You bet the women went for it, but that was not all they went for, or wanted more!

I too, as a matter of tradition following the death of a dear friend, grew a beard for 40 days. Hate it !!
A beard, a grey beard, does look distinguished on an older man, or indeed an older....woman, however on a teenager or a very young guy it looks fucking stupid.
I may consider growing one my self when Im old, right now I'm still a young boy, 73 tomorrow !!!

My son, sporting a ....beard, arrives today with his lady !!! He is a 46 year old ....baby !!! Declined invitation to stay at appartment because he said " dad Im on holiday, want to be by the pool, my breakfast ready," so he is staying at the Apollonia !! The apartment is empty all year now and is used mainly by visiting family and friends, just minutes from the sea !!
Apparently, and this is a secret divulged by my 9 year old grand daughter, he will hold a birthday party for my birthday tomorrow at the Apollonia!! Oh boy !! I prefer a taverns anytime but I must show appreciation. I hope he is .....paying !!!
