I came here with my children and their dad on the pretense of a holiday, only for him to decide everybody stays once here. When we arrived he instantly went looking for work and began working. He said he would only stay until his work ends in October and then we would go back, he didn't back this up in any way, I certainly didn't believe him. We came here in July and were due to leave in August though he had hidden childrens passports at that point.
I do have the passports back now tickets to leave. The children have British passports/citizenship and share my surname. I am wondering if anybody knows if I would be asked for additional documentation like fathers permission at airport? Or if it is possible for him to put them on a stop list in this case?

A close relative of mine who is divorced from her husband, recently took their 3 children on a holiday to Greece.
As she was told before hand , she obtained the father's permission in writing which had to be signed in front of the local Mouctary, Councilor- Mayor.

Maybe a visit to the British High Commission would be a good idea.
The children have British passports.
