Euro Lottery Madness

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Well seeing as you were gonna appear with a big fat envelope, then perhaps I could do the same. Might not be anything in it though :D

To be honest, I dont think Id like the hassle that a load of money would bring but a nice little win to cover school fees and the occasional night out would be cool.

You gotta think big....Life changing size. It's a fantasy, make it a good'un. No need to work ever again, but taking a job just to get out . No more money worries. A lovely great villa with its own land (not to big though, just cos we're loaded don't mean we need 6 bedrooms does it) Just to be comfortable for the rest of your life....what a feeling that must be. And yet i read over here of previous lottery winners peeing it all away on fast cars, motorbikes, big houses and helicopters they can't even fly!! What a waste. I wouldn't let it change my life, i'd still talk to the poor people. Well, from a distance maybe.......

Ok if I was gonna think big then I'd have a massive pool - I live in a big place now but no pool, I dont drive so not interested in flash cars and Ive just realised that I actually cant think of anything else Id like. Now, that means either I'm well balanced, not very materialistic and an all round good egg, OR I'm really boring and unimaginative.

Gee I really need to get out more........

You could fill your pool with bacardi !! oooooo....dive in. The way i think is you can only drive one car at a time so what's the point of owning more, watches tell the same time so what's the point of spending ₤ 20,000 on a Rollex? I want to see my friends and family comfortable and in my new villa a temperature controlled room full of books.

Ooh ooh(jumping up and down) can I visit your book room pleeeze?? See I knew that there was something that interested me.

Agree on the cars but Ive no desire to drive so pointless me having a garage full and watches, havent worn one since I was about 14.

not sure about the family thing - I would give them something, Im not that tight, but I'm not sure how much. Too much and they would become dependant and lazy and would no doubt create more animosity between my siblings and I so I'd have to play that one by ear.(which is quite ironic seeing as my 4 siblings have hearing issues- sorry, not pc but made me chuckle).

If I was going to make one totally out of character purchase it would have to be a celeb style handbag dog, which has its own matching outfits... Sad but small things amuse small minds..

NOOO....you can't get a hand bag dog. That's soooo cruel. You ever had an itch you couldn't scratch? remember a dog is covered in a fur coat allraedy. Put outfits on top !!!! So cruel. No, i forbid you to dress up your dog. Thats finall. As for giving money away i agree with you. I'd help my family out, help get the younger ones started put money into trusts for them and such but to give them everything is to take away the need to achieve. We all need to strive for something or else we vegitate. I hold dearest to me the things i worked hardest for. Like my books. I have a storage room full that i can't wait to get back on shelves. There's untold pleasure in escapism.

Aw please, I NEED a little dog but will compromise - can it wear doggie trainers? You can buy them on the internet.

And I'd take escapism over realism any day. Could account for the fact I never get anything done. For example I am supposed to be doing some research at the mo - erm, nope have put the lottery on, chatted to you, watched the Simpsons. Actually I really should be forceful and make myself do it. So dont encourage me or I'll be here all night.

Doggy trainers? they just say sit and stuff, like Barbera Woodhouse.Remember her, tweed skirts and "SITTT-AA". Yes you can have a little dog but no sailor suits and stuff. You should see my dog. She's a Parsons Terrier, like a jack russel only a bit bigger and longer legs. She's the best. So what are you supposed to be researching then? Anything interesting?

haha very witty, I saw these tiny little doggy sneakers(well it was an american site) and felt I was missing out on something because I didnt have a dog.

Well I have a friend who's into alternative health etc and wanted to know as much as possible about the various things she does so at least I dont have that rabbit caught in headlights look when she opens her mouth. Another reason is that she's going to help me to stop smoking and I was allegedly looking at statistics for quitting using hypnotherapy.
I did also have work related stuff to do but I can do that tomorrow. Time doesnt mean an awful lot to me -I dont wear a watch! :D

Never heard of a Parsons terrier before, prior to coming here we had an English Bull Mastiff and I do miss my baby but she'd never have coped in the heat.

I'm worried about that with my Juno. Would she cope with the heat? Hope you find your path when it comes to quitting smoking. Can't help when you live in a place where they are so cheap. Over here you will pay 5.50 for 20 B+H now. Glad i gave up when i did, some 8 or 9 years ago now. I very nearly went back when i was an enforcing bailiff but that was just the stress, so i quit the job.
