Boris Johnson hospitalized

Postby miltiades » Mon Apr 06, 2020 12:30 pm

After 10 days of self isolation BJ was taken to hospital apparently suffering with high temperature.
In spite of my expressed antipathy towards him I wish him a quick recovery soon.
He was confirmed as a Corona virus carrier some ten days ago but has not recovered after self isolation of ten days.
Get well soon Mr Johnson.

My 68 year old brother in London was taken to the hospital early this morning to the ICU having had the “flu” for the last 10 day and home quarantined, and despite not showing the obvious symptoms of Coronavirus, he was physically weak to get up to go to the toilet, so his wife called for the ambulance. Naturally family is concerned.

Sorry to hear this Kikapu. I do hope he soon recovers. It seems to me that the UK hasn't as yet reached the peek of this virus.
Im also concerned about my son since he has volunteered to deliver essentials to hospitals.

Don't be concerned. Just make sure he wears PPE - gloves, mask and DO NOT touch his face till he washes his hands throughly every time.

make sure he is trained to remove and dispose of the gloves properly. there is a special technique on how to remove the gloves and he must never touch the outside. This is a trap for young players. Also, removing masks are done from the string at the back of the head.

Medical staff receive training on how to do this. make sure he knows the proper techniques.

If you don't know what I am talking about, tell him to ask a Doictor or nurse about it and to demonstrate. people think that by wearing a mask or gloves you are safe, but you are only safe if you know how to use them properly. If you don't use them properly, then you are risking contamination.

Thanks Milti.

I am trying to give a positive outcome to all this to give comfort his family.

The truth is, it is not confirmed yet that he has the Coronavirus.

My son is a musical events producer, but as every venue is now on hold , he felt he had to do his bit !!
He received proper training and he is 47 years old, sensible guy. I know that after losing his mother and his wife he has become very sensitive .
