From my first memories of South Africa. Apartheid era.
I was 10 years old, I remember this song very well, we used to sing it at Primary school. (All white school)
I was called a 'dirty Greek' by the majority British ancestor children.
Little did I know...Cat Stevens is half Cypriot.
And I wasn't really from Greece, just a kid from a village in Paphos, Cyprus whose parents emigrated from.
Looking back,... oh the irony.

Someone put out bunch of CD’s the other day to be taken by anyone for free and in the pile was Cat Stevens’ “Tea for the Tillerman” album in excellent condition. I grabbed it as fast as I can.
