Apprenticeship

Hi,
We are moving to Larnaca in the summer and my 16 yr old son would like to start an apprenticeship in the building, plumbing industry. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, do they have appenticeships or something along those lines?. Thank You

I think this is done in 2 ways: 1) connections - you know somebody that knows a plumber very well. 2) low salary - if he is willing to work for peanuts they will take him. I think it is like this. I am not an expert in the field!

He would need to speak, read and write Greek, as well.
