Ask any Economist to tell which country is bakrupt and which is not between Greece and Turkey. 29% of GDP debt as opposed to 180% of GDP debt. I get the feeling you did not go past primary school from your sunday church school.

Most economist are saying that Turkey is in the top 3 countries globally with risk of defaulting.

A lot of Turkish economists and pundits believe that the IMF needs to be brought in to save Turkey from defaulting.

The thing is, Erdogan's regime doesnt have any credibility and no statistics that come out of that country can be trusted anymore.

This is not about Greece vs Turkey by the way.

Why do you always drag Greece or EOKA in to every conversation.....

You are so fascinated with Greece. I dont blame you though, because as a Turk, this is your benchmark for excellence isn't it...

Just who is fascinated with whom again? Here we have Greece which has gone from 184% of GDP to over 200% today and what you are claiming is that it is perfectly ok.

If you want to see civilisation, read and learn boy. Was this not the period your Greeks were hunter gatherers living in caves?

I am not talking about Greece, and never have I said that the debt to GDP ratio of Greece is OK.

The issue with the Greek state defaulting was something that happened many years ago.

if you recall, she received a bail out.

This topic is about Turkish economic matters.

You can try and derail the thread all you like, by talking about Greece, EOKA or a different topic entirely, such as history or the stone age but that wont change Turkey's financial situation.

If you want to continue, with your off topic lunacy, I will just stop responding to you.

You can do what you like. Greece did not get a bail out, what she got was stay of execution and her debt is growing by the day. The whole point of this is beyond you but those with glass houses should not be throwing stones is the lesson here.

It is your obsession with Turkey that is the real issue here.

He is smashing his keyboard and dribbling all over it to frantically reply to the pages and pages he has missed here about Turkeys economic woes.

The AKP's propaganda arm have upped his salary to 1 TL per post. That is why he is back.

https://www.arabnews.com/node/1837616/middle-east

"The admirals used their declaration to criticize the Kanal Istanbul, a multibillion-dollar artificial waterway connecting the Black Sea to the Marmara Sea to ease shipping traffic on the Bosphorus Straits. They also addressed the prospect of possible revisions to the 1936 Montreux Convention, which is about control of the Istanbul Straits."

...indeed.
