...the usual military parade, and, few words toward Turkish Cypriots (who in effect as Individuals are standing alone against "Turkishness", the common enemy).

...if he was speaking as a Cypriot his words would ring true. Being a "Turk" he is no better than the "Greeks" who take (and have taken) the lives of Cypriots Turkish and Greek with such disdain.

I know a fellow who has been celebrating this day by hanging RoC flag where everyone can see without fear from anybody. ever since the decleration itself. Even through the years of 63 to 68 and beyond.
