We have not heard from the old man for a while. Can anybody find out if he is ok?

Had a major op on Sept. 7th. 60% of my stomach removed.
I was discharged on the 18th Sept. Recuperating at home. Had the " stiches" clips removed 3 days ego. Getting better by the day. Must admitt it was a very difficult time for me.
The care I received was nothing short of excellent .

My Father-in-Law had the same op, for the same reason, back in the 80s. He had a rough time afterwards, too. Got better eventually though.

Welcome back Milti. Paphitis has been remarkably quiet in your absence.

Welcome back, Milti.

These operations are never easy and it takes time to recover fully. Next 5 years you will go through many routine controls by your doctors from CT scans, MRI’s, PET Scans, Tumor marker blood tests and so on. Wishing you all the best my friend and hopefully your quality of life will return back very soon.
