Hello everyone, we're possibly moving to Cyprus in September, so I need some info and don't know where to look for it. I browsed thru this forum, got to page 20 and got very dizzy... Here is the info about me...
- male, 30 yrs old
- Masters in Computer Science, 3 yrs work experience
- non-EU citizen, can stay 90 days without visa
- fluent in (almost) everything but Greek
- willing to work anywhere, doesn't have to be computers, but I have some edge there
- no pets, no kids or any other burdens
- will be living near Nicosia, have a house
- don't care that I will be making less money than here

Here is some info that I would like to know:
- what are good job searching sites that specialize in Cyprus? I so far found the following (http://www.cyprusjobs.com/; http://www.grsrecruitment.com/)
- what are the odds of getting a half-ass decent job without knowing Greek?
- how would a cypriot (citizen) start a new business?
- how would a cypriot with a legitimate business sponsor someone to come work for them?
- is it possible to extend the 90 day no visa policy? maybe by leaving the country and then coming back?
- does government have some special policy on in-demand occupations (maybe IT, nurses...) where it is easier to get a work permit then? what are those occupations?
- what big international companies (IBM, Microsoft, Price Waterhouse Cooper...) have offices in Cyprus?

That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll have some more questions. Generally, links to some ministries that might be in charge of this should be sufficient. And if they are in Greek, let's just hope that Google can translate them well enough. Thanks all!
