Thank you Cyprus!

Postby skyvet » Mon Mar 01, 2021 12:35 pm

I have just received my first Covid vaccination, and would like to offer my thanks to the Cypriot Ministry of Health in general, and to the staff at the Pasydyd building in Larnaca where I had my injection.
My appointment was at 1030 this morning, and the needle went painlessly into my arm at 1031, and 15 minutes later I was on my way home, with my second injection booked for May.
The efficiency and professionalism of the staff was second to none, so I'd like to say 'thank you Cyprus' and well done from a grateful Brit.

Which vaccination did you receive, Sky?

My ...kid brother, a mere boy at almost 73, had his first injection, AstraZenica, earlier today. He expressed same sentiments as Skyvet.
I shall not be able to receive the vaccine.in view of the many allergies I suffer from and least Penicillin.
I will just have ro rely on my BoReD, perhaps increase dossage a little

No virus would venture near you Milti. It’d be far too frightened. :D

Is it so bad that you even considered buying multiple licences of Windows 3.1?

Massive retired Ex Pat community turned out today at the old Electricity Board here in Paphos to receive their jab.
We're lagging, we're 3'rd in Europe per population in vaccines but first in Covid Tests at least.

Reading today's news it seems a lot of member countries have had enough of the lumbering EU Commission's master plan (Operation Cock-up) and are off to do their own thing.
