Probably they are searching their law books to find the relevant clauses...
Accusing people by what they think is illegal, while there is no law about it, is common practice in the occupied. So many public servants, so much police having nothing to do all day...

That's not what I was talking about Lordo. I was talking about the police in the occupied not even knowing the "laws". I 'd bet they also think killing someone is OK if he is trying to convert Tcs to anything... But we are talking of a police under the orders of the army right?
Like for example when a TC goes home after work and finds a someone inside his house stealing things. He calls the "police" and the burglar is set free, because.... oh yeah he was a SETTLER.

I have not seen a report like that one before but there are lots of cases where a man gets caught with drugs and guns and then he get released pending trial. One individual (a TC) got caught smuggling, he was released the same day and the policeman who arrested him was transfered to Karpaz.

Corruption everywhere. It is true that not only police but also the firebrigade is under the control of the Army.
Then again the army in the south is under the control of a man from Greece. And the police in the south arrest the victims rather than the criminals if the victim is black or a foreigner or both.
Of course if we are talking 1960, the crime does not even get investigated as the police are helping and facilitating the criminals. A friend of mine with 4 children was killed by the swines. To tgis day no investigation of any kind.

Let's stick to the matter of proselytism .
When I was working in the Gulf, the only English program on TV was about the merits of Islam over other religions. Constant daily religious propaganda. Every other day they would present Kat Stevens (A Britich GC singer who converted to Islam). That was State promoted proselytism. Yet you can imagine what would happen if any foreigner would try to convert a local person towards some other religion...

Yet they did have laws and they did have judges. Koran was all their law and the judge was deciding according to Koran within 5 minutes!

Few years ago where I was working as an employee, an email was sent out offering some work in Saudi which specified that female employees were not allowed to put their names down for the selection as it was against local custom for women to teach men. Naturally I did not put my name in the mix either. My line manager picked me up on it saying I was an ideal candidate as I was a Muslim. I explained to him that what they are proposing was against my Muslim beliefs and wished them good luck with their work.

In any case I still have deep respect for the Arabs and many pleasant memories from my stay in their country. Imagine I did not pay a parking ticket on purpose! I wanted them to take me to court, so that I would learn how they deliver justice.
So there I went it was just an office, and the judge was some imam or something. He offered me tea. Then he told me "listen son, here we have laws, and our law is the Koran. So tell me why you refused to pay the fine?" I told him "Sir, it's because the policeman was giving tickets only to foreigners, there were at least 50 locals parked there and not even one got a ticket". It took the judge a few seconds to decide and then asked me to give him the ticket. He teared it apart and threw it in the dustbin, saying "koran teaches us to be fair to all, you may go son"...

It proves beyond a shadow of doubt that ALL religions are bad for humanity. Medieval beliefs that captured through brain washing billions of humans. On FB there are many sites all eminating from the so called.Ayion It is, a bloody miracle every second, icons are shedding tears right left and centre and the zombies react en mass with ...Am in !!
Needless to say I have been blocked by many of these so call Holy sites. I wonder if one day a brave government will declare ALL such as pure mythological rubbish. Long live HUMANITY. THE ONLY TRUE RELIGION.
