The word GOD is in fact perfect for describing that which is responsible for the existence of the universe, because it is both a noun and a verb!

So by virtue of the beauty, enormity, complexity, and overall awesomeness of its creation... this “thing” (or universe-making factory if you prefer) has attained GOD STATUS!

So if it’s OK for Diego Maradona to be called “the God of football” for scoring say 500 goals, is it not OK to label “GOD” that which is responsible for creating a universe?

Are you kidding me???

Your sense of judgment must be extremely poor if you cannot put such things into perspective! :?

You should know that plate tectonics pushes the top layers of the earths crust downwards to the core, which is molten lava.

Things and debri buried at the top end up getting pushed downwards and incinerated given a long enough time horizon.

That explains why there isnt evidence of mankind before then.

You are believing that God created the universe and everything. Good for you.

But not everyone believes it. The majority of people actually think it’s a man made fairytale to make man happy as they have a simplistic explanation for everything. How we came to be and a solution for fear of death etc.

But isnt it just as ridiculous to believe in a theory, such as evolution, that say that man was once a lizard,

What will man become next then, will we grow wings and start flying like birds?

A lizard turns in to a man. Think about how barmy that is in all actuality! :?

Some people think that is a crazy explanation of how man came to roam the earth as well.

The only difference is one is thousands of years old and the other is recent where we are supposedly more intelligent.

The more intelligent we think that we are, the more stupid we become.

No. Evolution is very defensively a fact by now.

Mind you, evolution does not disprove the existence of God or creation.

The closest ancestors to dinosaurs, are chickens and birds.

And we still have living dinosaurs today. The Great Salt Water Crocodile.

Where are the fossils to show this evolution from lizard and man?

I’m not actually even sure that’s proven.

But the fact that animals do evolve and change and even humans have evolved and changed from our earliest ancestors is proven.

But evolution is supposedly a fact, I want someone to show me,

Since, we have found the fossils of dinosaurs, and apparently, man wasn't around during the Jurassic age,

So where are the fossils of the evolution in between? In Egypt?

There are fossils and remains of some of our early ancestors, including skulls etc.

So they have been able to draw the links. The science here is unanimous.

Similarly, there are links drawn between animals alive today and their ancestors as well.

I can’t comment about a reptile changing into a mammal. Plus I don’t know enough about this beach of science. Oracle is a biologist.

My daughter won a science competition one year and the prize was to spend a night at the museum, it was a lot of fun and good bonding time with her as well. Watched the movie calmed “a night at the museum” had dinner and then was taken on an exclusive tour to see all the fossils and bones by a university professor. Very engaging and an eye opener.

Yes there are early fossils that actually give a time stamp of various species in their evolutionary timeline. There was no hypothesis or second guessing here. It’s pretty well accepted as fact.

Good experience sleeping at the museum. Not many people can say they did that.

Yes some of our early ancestors, What did they evolve from.

There must be some pictures, something.

Did we evolve from apes, chimpanzees and monkeys?
