Who is to say God did not create science and science created evolution? It is very easy to dismiss anything to which we cannot see, as things are only logical in our 3 dimensional world of the things which we can see or able to measure with instruments . As humans and individuals, we only occupy space on this Earth at most a little over 100 years. Each 1 million years in the future will generate at most 10,000 generations (one hell of a family tree) in our 3 dimensional world which we as humans and all living things will continue to evolve. To what exactly, no one knows.

Please do not ask what my point is in all this!

Can I knock this down in one move. if god existed he would be like a house builder. It would not throw bunch materials in the air and hope that they fall in the right way or at some point evolve to suit the purpose.

Evolution is not about some superior being controling what happens.

Lets give a good example in our time. Chernobyl explosion took place. What happened since then is fascinating. A lot of animals and plants died and some survived and actually thrived from the opened special opporotunity. Some crazy scientists eventually returned there with suitable protection and started growing vegitation for human consumption. Clearly he had to make sure anything he grew there was not poisoned by radiation and sure enough he did actually grow stuff there he could eat. In otherword they could filter radiation out of their system

So in this instance the Nuclear disaster created a bit of localised evolution as only plants and animals that are able to stand radion survived and the rest died. As this radiation will be there for thousands of years, clearly those able to stand it will thrive.

This is how evolution takes place. If it was not for the extinction if the T-rex and his kind , mammals would not have had a cat in hell chance of surviving on this earth as they were food.

Well, we don’t necessarily know what god is or that it had a master plan to create man in his own image. God may have created science and science created it’s own plan based on circumstances and conditions, hence evolution. God and Evolution can both exist together to answers everyone’s questions of our existence.

You hve to understand how the idea of god came to humanity. Fry explains it very clearly. He even wrote several bools on it. If mankind did not understand a volcano it was god of fire that was not pleased becasue people did not pray to him. Going back in history they even succrified people to p;ease their god. It is such sick thing to do. To this day muslims practice this but with a twist. They only sacrifice animals we would nor mally eat and are duty bound to give it to those who cannot afford to buy meat for free. Well that si the idea but in realty the whole village was given a piece.

God is for simple people who rather than deal with their issues they are encouraged to trust god and put the usual contribution in the church fund box. A church that is richer than most corporations in the world.

It is sick I tell you. Their followers are suffering whilst they live a life of luxury.

God is for those who acknowledge the great miracle we call the universe, while realizing their own smallness, insignificance and mortality.

In other words, it’s for those people who have some HUMILITY towards the celestial greatness that is before their eyes.

And then there are JERKS like Fry, you and others... who picked up a few scientific labels like “gravity” and have convinced themselves that the cosmos is no big deal because they’ve got it all figured out thanks to the few man-made labels they learned!

Just come down your extra-high horse and quit making a dick of yourself, re Lordo!

If nothing else this should have clarified how science works. Every theory is tested to the limits and if it fails once it is discarded.

Everything we have today is due to science. Simples.

I am only sorry I did not take up the opporotunity to study Physics at university because I though it would be boring as A' Level was. I also decided not to do Cumputer Science as it was known then on the advice of one of the career adviser who told me, "if I study Computer Science, all I will be able to do is work for IBM and earn 5000 pounds per year". If only I can find that swine, but the chances are he is long gone by now.

Cosmos is not created by Graavit you idiot, stars and the planets are. The mistery is where does all that gas come from with the big bang. I only hope your god did not have FASOULYA the night before. Can you imagine the smell of all that gas? If you happen to be passing by the swine do not light up a cigarette you hear?

You must be well into your 70s then. Nothing wrong with that of course... just saying.

70s? you must be joking.

One minute you claim I do not understand Science, now you are saying I am in my 70s. Wrong and double wrong. In maths terms that is refered to as wrong squared.

I wonder if the phrase wrong footed came from there too.

Had he said... “IBM for 20k a year” it’d be early 1970s,

Had he said... “Microsoft for 40k a year” it’d be early 1980s,

But he said... “IBM for 5K” and that has to be 1960s!

That should roughly make you age 75.

Ok he was a litle more desctiptive than just IBM. He actually said I would get a job pushing keys on a keyboard of the mainframe computer.

Are you aware 2hat an average wage was in UK at the time, about 750 pounds a year and you could buy a house for 1,500 in norf londonistan. Wages of 5000 a year were around in the early eighties for university graduates.

You really have not got a clue about life in the uk for 60s and 70s as well as 80s.
I was not here in the 60s, i was dodging bullets from your friends the lovable eogasmenes, lambron na dous gapsi.

Thelis na fais fakkes.

Lets face it I already said something not so long ago which gave my age away but clearly either you did not see it or you just did not understand it.
