Good deed of the day.

THERE IS STILL HOPE
No I am not going to write again about Putin's invasion of Ukraine. I'll talk to you about another man, infinitely more humane, a poor and respectable man, who is working as a food distributor in "other" Nicosia.
Well at noon on Thursday, the lower half (so called government) decided that with the return of the cold temperatures we are experiencing these days, nothing better could replace a delicious and hot Indian curry, from those poets they touch the tasty medley of foodies.
So we took to satisfy our delicious meals at the excellent restaurant known as Jashan in northern Nicosia. As always the food was plentiful and delicious. When it was time to pay for the damage, I found out in horror that my wallet had abandoned me. You may have left it in the car, the wife said.
I run to the car and I do a self control check, only in the engine I didn't look. In the wallet, besides the money were all the cards, the driver's license (another card too) and the ID. The anxiety is great then.
From the beginning, and while I was demonically searching, I noticed a small map on the windshield (I learned this word in a knowledge game) and I thought that the owner of the store I the rude Cypriot parked opposite, would have noticed me obviously not to do it again. And i was searching ...
After realizing that the wallet wasn't in the car, I thought I'd take a look at the windshield paper. He wrote something in Turkish, but he also had a phone on top and a name. Immediately I realized, my hopes were restored.
I'm running back to the restaurant and the maid translates "I found your wallet, call the number... » He calls the couch and the voice from the other end of the cable orders "tell the lord to wait and as soon as I'm done with the delivery I'll pass to return the wallet." The Lord who left the note, was what we many times underestimatingly call a "deliveristy".
In less than fifteen minutes a young person entered the restaurant, with a wallet in hand and introduced himself. Mehmet, told us his name, and it seemed to me that he was a resident. We took pictures, the customers, the ropes and the restaurant owner were clapping.
So there are also these people. Those who won't let us forget that we are not all corrupt, subdued, cynical and inhumanely based on what's going on around us.
Man Mehmet, if they called you Kemal, I would have written more (by the way "Good night Kemal, this world will never change"). I'm only sorry that my description ostrich doesn't allow me to transfer to paper, everything I felt about you.
