Hi,

Just a quick question please, as we are coming over for a 2 week holiday at the end of April.

Just so that we are prepared and know what to expect...in regards to mask wearing ?

Is mask wearing mandatory in outdoor open spaces, such as the beach, out walking and even when cycling ?

And what about shops etc, I expect Masks must be worn inside ?

I expect the answer for restaurants is a mask is to be worn until sitting down and eating and drinking !!

An announcement is due to be mad3 this Thursday concerning masks. The measures thus far are not as severe as some may have thought. I'm the seafront every morning , on the peer at an area called ENAERIOS. where I fish, nobody wears a mask. If you happen to be in L8massol do take a stroll on the peer, some real charachter there. Have no concerns about your visit here, Cyprus is Paradise on earth, people are friendly and personal safety of the highest level. I will complete 5 years on the island in mid April, thouroughly enjoying life here, I'm certain your vacation will be a pleasant one with many happy memories.

Thanks for that, I'll keep an eye out for the Thursday update. I've been to Cyprus (Polis) five times now and I'm sure my 6th visit will just be as good as my previous visits.
