Do you mean Turkey when you say our distant cousins, because they have no functioning fire fighting aircraft of any kind. If they did the usual trick and refused help from RoC is just beyond belief. They should be given a fair trial and then hung by the neck till they die.

What GR is saying is the RoC sent two fire fighting aircraft to help put out the blaze. Also they arranged with Israel to send aircraft.

But there was no acknowledgment or gratitude from your "authorities".

They will reciprocate with threats and hostile attitudes and actions. Thats the thanks the GC's will get!

Following this development, the two Forest Department aircraft attempting to extinguish the fire will not have to operate in the fire-affected areas on Saturday.
