Forum Moderation Duties poll

Alright people, I’ve copied a bunch of member names that are currently active or were recently active.

If I’ve left someone out, ah well too bad… I can’t remember everyone, so vote away for whomever you’d like to moderate the forum in the Admin’s absence.

Oh and feel free to post your little campaign ad here telling us all your LIES; sorry I mean promises, of how the voters will benefit if they elect you!

I’ve made the voting hidden, runs for 5 days, and yes you can vote for yourself.

Blimey Paphites its a poll for a forum mod, not a presidential election race.

All we need is someone to accept new members and keep the pork luncheon meat away (no offence intended Lordo)

I cast the first vote for GR not because i agree with his political views but becsuse i think he is the least likely of all these fine candidates to ban someone for opposing views. Plus as mentioned on the other thread he has the time to take on the role.

I would have liked 2 votes so we can appoint 2 mods my second choice would have been Lordo (one from each side of the divide so to speak

This might be funny to some, but I'm not laughing here.

There are very serious issues to consider here, as follows:

1) censorship - freeddom to express views and view[points without hinder. This is what we in the west grow up with and expect.
2) liberatarianism - allow people to live their lives in accordance with their wishes, to freely express their religiosity, or lack of, sexuality, culture, and so on.
3) just let everyone be and to not bring disrepute to the nation of Cyprus - which sometimes some members actually do when they express hatred and out there hair brain idears like turning the west to glass.

It's a pretty serious step voting for moderators on this forum.

Yes it would be advantageous as new members will be able to join. I welcome that. But this can never be at the expense of our freedom to express views, express liberal and democratic values and display such gross intolerance. Give the keys to the wrong people, then mebers like myself become compromised in this asylum.

I don't support this vote. I support the Admin appointing a third neutral party as mod, or I hereby nominate the following individuals:

4) RichardB
5) Kikapu - however, I have concerns on his political views as well. Hence I'm on the fence.
