Yeah, I don’t think the CF is on any spammers crosshairs!

In a nutshell no-one of the current members is suitable to "moderate" the forum or else we will destine it to sudden death.
The way it goes (without approval of new members) it's rather destined to slow death.
The solution is pretty obvious to me: Set new members to automatic!

...what are the routines? (it is not just new member reviews)
...needing two, what are the skills sets needed between them and/or for both?

. (lol, (up until recently) i'd PM new members to welcome them sometimes)
Care must be taken; actually the Cyprus Forum is a valuable asset, what with its staying power over the years, some pretty respectable bits and bytes stored, and being quite unique (not being a page on facebook) on the www.
...maybe all of us are capable of being moderators? Maybe the position should have a limited term? Maybe the position is filled by a lottery, like a Jury system because our commitment as members is to a greater good; "being" Cypriots.
If i had my choice, i would contact past members, like Tim Drayton and others who had a big affect, and effect, by their membership, and departure; that widens the pool and sparks interest.
