There's always, it's seemed to me, when it comes to some Forum issues been a tendency on the part of a few (not that there's every been a many) to reduce the core participants to a tiny group of like-minded individuals who, although they fundamentally agree, go on to discuss "details".

I really don't understand why you're not bosom buddies with GR. You both broadcast your pro-Russian views and links with no obvious interest in actually discussing - or when challenged - defending them. The almost invariable response is to attack with contempt/obfuscating bull (or in his case playground banner signatures). When, that is, not competing with the other view-sympathetic members for who can produce the best contemptuous put-down of the week. Your thesaurus must be near exhausted of "diatribe" synonyms. To reiterate the origin of all that. You posted a link relating to "Ukraine fatigue" from a site called Southgate. I looked through and found it contains nothing but anti-west articles, written by clearly self-aggrandising non-entities. I invite all to have a look and see whether they think I'm wrong. I asked what credibility you attached to said, at which point you went off into one. In blue, embellished with large angry capitals.

You still keep avoiding my main point with obfuscating irrelevances. You've run a 600 post Blog in which you have often referred to my country as Swineland. A place that you've apparently lived and worked in for half a century. In essence you've spent the vast majority of that thread talking to yourself. In fact, you may not have noticed, or more likely don't care, but a great many of your posts go unanswered.

You talk regularly in heart-rending terms in defence of the suffering poor in the UK, whilst upon occasion commenting that the evil people who apparently inflict it should be given a fair trial ................ then be shot. Fast forward to the next OP and you are either directly or implicitly agreeing with or defending the invasion by one country of another. A conflict which some estimate to have cost the lives of 200,000 Russian and Ukrainian troops, tens of thousands of civilians and has resulted in about 8 million refugees. I call you out for it and suggest you sort out your supposed humanist sympathies because, frankly, it all stinks of largescale hypocrisy. It seems to me you do it to sycophantically keep in with the rest of the "family".

As far as spelling's concerned. You've hurt my feelings. Are we both being oversensitive? You've presented yourself as an expert on economics, politics and lately even rocket technology (I will have missed a couple of dozen things there). Not forgetting how you often talk contemptuously about other people's intellect. Yet, after half a century living in the UK, at times you've struggled to put together a coherent sentence. That's been much improved since your 2019 days, when every post was a ROTFLMAO event. So, my work has more-or-less been done in that respect. Although, we will have to do a lot on your attempts at sneering put-downs. I know you're trying hard but you seem to be stuck in the "toilet brush" area.
