At 6pm on Saturday evening, Agrotis set off from the village of Deryneia and rode for 23 and a half hours around the perimeter of Cyprus, his home island. He covered 627km, crossed the Greek-Turkish checkpoint twice and climbed almost 6,000m, raising funds for thyroid cancer, which he had as a teenager.
