I sent an e-mail to the police this morning and usually the 'received' response comes back within minutes.

Today ..... NOTHING ..... but the explanation is in the CM!

The geniuses put the central server in a basement ....... right next to a room holding a water tank! The tank leaked and I assume when they found the server was standing in water they realised they had a problem. So, it looks like the Cyprus government is now totally dis-functional? Get ready for chaos!

The Land Registry server has been down for week's after being hacked ..... strangely enough just after they discovered hundreds/thousands of plots and buildings with a valuation of ZERO! Strange .... or what?

Someone's going through a lot of denial at the moment i bet; how embarrassing.

Let me guess they are going to spend millions to move it somewhere more secure.

I got my 'received' notice from the police this morning .......... I would not have bothered to drive into Limassol with a paper copy, delivered by hand, had I known they would recover this quick!

I would say someone noticed water on the server room floor, panicked and shut the system down, Then someone else suggested it might be easier to shut of the water tank/pump, suck up the water and dry out the floor ...... and reboot the system? :roll:

It’s a mystery. The design worked fine at Fukushima and Evangelis Florakis.
