If my memory is ok, it costs about 23,000CYP. It could be worth to bring your own here though.... and maybe I can test drive it and let you know if it is suitable for our streets.... :)

Just bear in mind that official Mazda Workshops will not service any RX8 that was not officially sold in Cyprus.

This is their attempt at stopping the whole grey Jap import thing.

Cheapest I have seen a 6spd (same as our aussie delivered) is about 18k. Had about 15,000 on the clock.

Hi Ausbroker

You will of course have to pay Duty and VAT on it when you import it :-(

Yes, new ones are around £23,000.

But I have seen some second hand imported from Japan at about 14,000 with the lesser output, but as they people said above the authorised garage will not provide any support. Personally I prefer the RX7 which was a real sports car... :) I read somewhere that a new RX7 is planned

The "new" RX7 has been in development since 1998. Personally I think they should let the RX7 name rest in peace - just like they did with the rx2, rx3, rx4 & rx5.

Time to move on. At this point in time talks are that the Mazda Kabura could be the next rotary rocket from Mazda (even though the prototype has a piston banger in it).

Yes, I've seen a couple of pictures of the Kabura... not my taste, prefer RX7 I, II, RX7 III, RX5 and RX4. Not the RX8.... too civilised for an RX
