Has the call for the withdrawal of Turkish Troops occupying the northern area of Cyprus been side swiped?

In the past I remembergoing to rallies and protests here in Australia where both the Liberal(conservative) and Labour parties specifically called for an immediate troop withdrawal by the Republic of Turkey.

The Commonwealth has also often made statements calling for an immediate troop withdrawal by the Turks.

The call of the international community and the UN has always been for an immediate troop withdrawal not a withdrawal if and when it was expedient for the Occupation.

There can be no negotiations under the Duress of an illegal occupation.

the cypriots are currently protesting from their coffee-shops. usually they send proetsting sms to each other, and so fullfiled their duty to the country.

It's the same approach for Turkish Cypriots/North side(coffee shop/armchair protest) - another thing we Cypriots have in common!

I happen to have a lotta love for baba Denktash - though I understand why so many people do not. But this was a hilarious line. I must remember to use sometime.

denktash is a person in the cypriot history who all gcs and a relative big number of tc have good reasons of not liking him.
