Greek Nationals in Cyprus

What is the position of Greek Nationals in Cyprus? They are treated as foreigners with regards to buying property, opening bank accounts, ID cards and residence permits etc yet when it comes to buying cars they are classed as Cypriots and have no allowance. I am talking pre EU although something are still in place (residence)......

What is the position of Greek Nationals in Cyprus?

Today Greek nationals have the same position as all other EU citizens.

Before we had some agreements between the two countries in some areas but I don't think most of them are relevant after the EU accession.

Yes, pre-EU days, greek Nationals had the right to employment and residence here, but as you say, all EU Nationlas are in the same (or almost the same) now.
