Medical care

Postby tbirchall » Fri Oct 08, 2004 12:31 pm

We are hoping to retire to Cyprus shortly we will buy our home and have sufiient funds (pensions, investments etc) to live comfortably. We have paid full National Insurence contributions in the UK all our life I am 68 my wife is 55 can someone tell me how we stand with regard to medical care?
Needless to say at our age it's a very important factor .

Thanks

Thanks Aris searching thro the jargon it seems that a cypriot gets full NHS the minute he steps ashore and we get none.
All I can hope is that these sites are slightly out of date have you or anyone else any further information frankly at my age a negative situation wold probably make me think twice
