when i was young(er) - and forgive me for this shockingly geeky admission, i was on a chat room, and i came across this one:

ROFLMAO

and i said, what the *** are you on about, and the person responded with the answer:

Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off.

and I thought: "that's the last time i ever involve myself with something as geeky as an internet chat site."

and here i am. on Cyprus forum. talking boll*cks and discussing the use of LOL in message posts.

Someone tell me how to get a gun permit.

I've been in a few chat rooms, got my MSN messenger, PM people in filesharing sites etc......but i have never ever used LOL.

Why?

Because i don't often read posts that actually do make me laugh out loud. And if someone has gone to the trouble to post something that has made me laugh i feel it is proper to tell them, not just send the obligatory lol.
