Hi,

I was wondering, can you suggest an Internet shop within Cyprus where I could buy mobile phone and one of those local packages equivalent to the UK's pay as you go.

I am in Scotland and need to buy this from here for my property in Limassol for the tenants but I want to get the pay as you go so that if they run up high bill, it will be their problem, not mine.

Get the phone from www.expansys.com and get it delivered in Cyprus. You can then buy a soEasy card from any Kiosk around

I found this website earlier, but I left it aside because I saw the site is not based in Cyprus. It seems that the phone will be sent by DHL directly to my address in Cyprus for a fee – that is good!

I am glad I found it. They offer some Sim packages together with mobiles, ideal, but it does not say which network the sim card will be for, but I guess there is only one in Cyprus anyway.

By the way, the site does not say if I will be billed in CYP or GBP Pounds?

I will be paying by credit card.

While I have you online, I am struggling in general to fin many internet shops in Cyprus.

Perhaps the Internet shopping is not widely popular and you see I need this in order to fully equip my house in Limassol whish is just been developed by Aristo developers.

They have recommended me a few site where I have done shopping already such as www.cmcliving.com, cmcelecrics.com etc..

I am pretty much sorted with these, the good thing is that all of the above take credit card but I need to find one last shop that sales fax machine and wireless telephone (or any land line phone) and perhaps PCs for domestic use.

On yahho.com plenty of information comes up but most og it is junk.

May be there is a local information portal in Cyprus where one can see all Internet shops listed according to say categories of goods they sell, etc..
