hi y'all,

As i've i said in an earlier post i'll be moving over to Paphos soon , the 17th March in actual fact which happens to be Paddys day!. does any of you guys know where there's gonna be any celebrations in the paphos area?.

Isn't St. Patricks an Irish thing? It is scottish?

Yes it is an Irish thing!

There is "Irish Pub" right near the Amathus Hotel...Going by the name I guess they may be celebrating....

Yes St Patricks day is an irish thing however we have a large Irish community here in Glasgow which I happen to be part of so it's quite a big thing here too. It's just an excuse for a party let the truth be known and is growing in popularity worldwide.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the celebrations no matter what part of the world you hail from. :D it's a day of high spirits, good company, a good drink and song.

You Irish are always looking for an excuse to party, isn't it PC ;)

There are many Irish pubs in Cyprus and they will have a St. Patricks events.
