Paranormal Cyprus

Postby djtrax98 » Mon Feb 27, 2006 4:36 am

I am conducting research into a new website which i am intending on designing, on which i will cover haunted locations in Cyprus.
Does anyone know of any books papers or literature written on the subject or where i may be able to obtain information relating to this on the island?
Cyprus has a very rich history spanning back many thousands of years, something must have been written on the subject, or even local folklore?
Please let me know if you have had any experiences on the island, equally any information that could point me in the right direction.

Every Cypriot is haunted by their relatives
lol

On a more serious note my friend polis insists that the Cavo Greco is haunted.

I don’t know if it is true or not.

As for local folklore,"kalikatzaroi" are pretty cool.
There is also a cool wizard in strovolo a few nice stories about him worth investigating.
Ive been to a gravity hill in paphos.you know where you put your car in neutral and it goes back up on the hill if you can consider that paranormal.
What else?..Let me think and i get back to you.:P

This is caused by an optical hallucination due to the background scenery. There are this kind of places all over the world :)
