How Much?

What's on offer? That's the bottom line.

Government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on Monday that Minds in Cyprus was an “act of faith” towards the Cypriots who left and did well and called on overseas Cypriots to discover the incentives.

Addressing the diaspora in a post on X, Letymbiotis said “we need your talent, experience and knowledge, because we are building a new state-people relationship.

Some fools insist on having close encounters with lions to get that “perfect” picture…

Nice of him volunteering to feed the lions... he just saved the zoo $250 worth of meat! :)

NB: Btw, I have a feeling this link won't last for long.

The man should have played dead and the lion probably would have let him go, instead he acted like a loud dancing feather on on a bit of string.

What's all this doing here? This thread is what help is the republic offering for returning Cypriots.

Have you ever wondered why flamingos are pink? It turns out their iconic hue comes from their diet, which consists largely of algae and small crustaceans containing carotenoid pigments. These pigments transform their feathers from an ordinary white to striking pink as they mature.

President Christodoulides announces incentives for Cypriots working abroad to return

"I must say that the messages we are receiving and the interest expressed by Cypriots who are in Great Britain to attend the 21 May meeting are very encouraging," said Nikos Christodoulides, going on to present some of the incentives that will be offered for their return to Cyprus.

These concern:

First: Tax exemption of 25% on the remuneration in the first employment.
Second: Increase the maximum exemption limit from €8,550 to €25,000 annually.
"And all of this will be able to be claimed by those working abroad, at least seven years after completing their studies," explained Nikos Christodoulides.

The President of the Republic further pointed out that there are many other incentives, which will be presented at the 21 May event, that do not require legislative regulation, such as issues related to education and housing.

"We are going with a comprehensive package-proposal, I am sure that the results, taking into account the interest that has been expressed so far, will be positive," he concluded.
