Do you understand what “hypocritical” means? Seems not.

NATO can’t agree on shit most of the time. Given the extensive Western business interests in Russia and reliance on their energy supplies (I’m talking about the good ole days here) the prospect of Ukraine just wandering into membership was always moot. All members would have to agree and at best Ukraine would have been kept in the waiting room for donkey’s years, The idea any of the NATO countries had plans to invade a country with 6000 nuclear warheads is patently absurd. Putin BS - to justify his actions to the masses - and of course the useful idiots.

AFAIK, unlike Iran’s regular pronouncements on Israel, nobody’s ever talked in terms of wiping the Russian cancerous entity off the face of the Earth.
