10 licenses of MS Office inc. MS Access
One MS Project license
One MS Visio license
Windows Server
Exchange Server
MS Project Server
SharePoint Server
SQL server.

There were lots of other stuff in it but I was only interested in the above.

Why would anybody get a cracked Windows when the original was included on the machine for no extra charge. You telling me Cypriots would buy a PC without windows so they could install a cracked version.

There was a wide range of licensing options and variations of Ms Office, both in the number of licenses and the content (Home/Enterprise/other)

As for Ms Windows… research “OEM” machines and parts available only to sellers/suppliers. (which also facilitates custom-designed systems)

The “logic” of a consumer is not sufficient to comprehend how the industry works.

I haven't used Microsoft office for years, been using google docs, sheets etc,

It can work offline by enabling it but lets be practical here, computers today are practically useless without an internet connection.

Talking about cracking office software and paying subscriptions and licenses for that is for the birds and two monitors is twice as better than one.

You’re missing the whole point of the main advantage of locally installed software which is PRIVACY!

Why the fuck would anyone want their personal documents saved on some remote server that is controlled by the world’s most corrupt IT cooperation that has been fined billions of dollars for privacy violations over the years, more than every other company combined in the history of computing?

And the only logical explanation millions still trust Google with Google Docs is because they’re plain stupid!

And I couldn’t care less how “great” Google Docs may be to those that use it, because the fact remains that you don’t let a wolf look after your flock of sheep unless you’re mentally retarded.

So it’s not just the fact that you MUST have an Internet connection to open/edit your “own” documents (as daft as this predicament is) but your precious docs are also in the hands of a group of convicted felons, plus they get to snoop on your system whenever you’re logged on to their “services” as they please!

If you still think that having these criminals in your life every day controlling you and your docs; when you could’ve easily had your own Office Suite (such as LibreOffice) installed on your hard disk privately, is worth it... then what can I say?

You’re a sucker for punishment and deserve everything you get!

Ok, now please tell us about Microsoft's operating system and cloud based services privacy violations.

You cant tell us there are none, at best you can try to water them down.

You can’t trust *any* online service that is run by a super-wealthy cooperation that has a history of privacy violations, and that includes Microsoft (ie:Teams).

As for Microsoft’s O/S, they’ve only started playing games in Win10 and Win11 but luckily there are workarounds to defeat their games albeit rather technical.

To give you a taste of what they do... if you add one of the well-known Microsoft spying domains to your hosts file (so as to block it) Win10 and Win11 ignore it... but it was fine in Win7 and before.

The workaround for this (as an example) is to block the offending domain in your router’s firewall.

It is getting worse.

1. There is no need to save your documents on the cloud, you can use your C drive or even an external drive.
2. The license for MS license for up to 5 devise is about 80 pounds a year. You pay more than that when you buy your coffee ffs.
3. If you have a Hotmail account, it has the cut down version of all the apps in it.

Considering the whole world is on MS products. You may as well get a chisel and a tablet and I mean the original tablet not the IT one.
Back to donkey and a cart for some I fear.
