Hi everyone

I am new to this forum, after a long time searching it seems that this is the most informative site about Cyprus avaliable.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good estate agents in Larnaca.
one that isnt aimed at tourists buying holiday homes.

I am looking for a 3 bed apartment or house in Larnaca town or just on the outskirts.
our budget doesnt stretch beyond £78,000cyp ......... are we being silly or can we purchase a 3 bed property within our budget

we are coming over in April to hopefully purchase a permenant home on the Island.

it seems that Buysell cyprus seems to be the biggest seller, however i have heard rumours that they are not estate agents and they charge high fees. is this right?

I would be grateful for any good contacts (web addresses or e mail would be great so we can get pictures sent through before we visit)

Many thanks

Hi Jazzy1

That's right, BuySell is NOT a Regsitered Estate Agency, it's a 'property marketing' company.

As you're looking to buy property here, you will find my website useful. Just click on the 'www' button at the bottom of this message.

Jazzy I would recommend to search through the local agents, make a short-list and then try to contact the owner directly.... A friend of mine did this and eventually he saved quite a lot amount of money...

jazzy, I am also looking at properties, and am using capital growth on Makarios Avenue. The girl dealing with me Iriene has been very honest so far, and true to her word. If you go there, tell her George sent you:)

I rented from Africanos who were suberb. Hornsey agencies near Cyta aren't bad either. Have you tried going direct to a developer who is building at the moment? You could fit it out exactly as you want the place. We bought from Hadjimatheous who even after 3 years still helps us with queries and any problems that arise.

Hi, have been here a year and now bought a property, got it through Palourtis estates (who are registered), excellent service and efficient staff, offices in Larnaca and Protoras, friends of ours recently bought through them too. Check out their website.
